Apr. 1st, 2012 09:42 pmAll right, so coming from the canon of Homestuck I'm sure you are all somewhat aware of the comic's penchant for annoying text. John is no exception!! This post will serve as an opt-out on these aspects!! These include, but are not limited to:
≈ his typing quirk!
john doesn't use any capitalization, and always types in bright blue bold courier.
he uses punctuation and has nearly-perfect syntax apart from his lack of punctuation.
sometimes he uses emoticons, but not half as often as his sister. :)
≈ His pranking tendencies! John is a bit of a joker, and while he isn't terribly good at it, he will make a semi-perpetual attempt at pranking the shit out of people. It's all in good fun, usually, but if you feel like any pranking attempts on his part would affect your character poorly, you may request I avoid him doing so to or around your character and I will do my best to avoid it within in-character limitations.
≈ Fourth Walling. John is a thirteen year old boy in the year 2009, who likes shitty movies and Nicolas Cage. He lives in our universe, so basically anything that is a pop culture reference he has the potential of knowing. If you play a character from a video game that came out before April 13, 2009, there is a chance he will know who you are. If you don't want him to call you on being a game character, let me know!! Otherwise I will assume it is okay (though I will be sure to ask if I have not heard otherwise before I just go throwing him at someone and calling them fake).
≈ Anything else. If you find yourself dealing with an aspect of John that you don't want in your roleplaying experience, please let me know and I will do my best to correct it (once again, within in-character limitations).
