Sep. 21st, 2012 03:09 am[He had settled into his apartment finally, breaking down the last box and putting it in the outdoor storage on the balcony. It wasn't terribly homely yet-- a bed and a dresser in the bedroom, a couch and a coffee table and a tv in the living room. A card table and two chairs in the dining room, which was technically part of the living room, which was technically part of the kitchen. He had a beautiful view from the balcony and had gotten caught up in staring at it as the sun set when his stomach reminded him that he hadn't eaten.]
[So he grabbed his keys and his wallet and his phone and jogged down the steps to go down the street to the little grocery store on the corner to grab some stuff to fill his fridge and make some dinner.]
[Some twenty-five minutes later he was wandering back down the same street with a few paper bags in his arms, full of groceries and various essentials.]
